As dessert I would highly recommend Luxurious Lemon drizzle cake made with freshly grated lemon peel and lemon syrup which is absorbed by the cake while cooling. Plain or filled with buttecream it is luscious and wonderfully refreshing.

An excellent choice for tea is moist Carrot Cake, baked with walnuts and rum soaked raisins and spiked with syrup made from fresh lemons and oranges. Although a much lighter alternative to fruit cake, it retains its richness and distinctive flavour of spices and citrus fruit.

Rich fruit cake, laced with brandy and covered with marzipan and icing is the all time classic and never disappoints. Traditionally made for Weddings, Christenings, Anniversaries and Christmas celebrations, it tastes good all on its own, or accompanying tea, coffee or champagne.
